Do I qualify for a gas boiler grant?

Boiler replacements can be expensive but boiler grants make it affordable for homeowners to make the switch.

Are you eligible for a boiler replacement? You'll need to pass a few checks to see if you qualify. As a homeowner, your household must have an annual income of £20,000 or lower. In addition, you need to be in receipt of at least one of several different qualifying state benefits, including but not limited to universal credit, income support, working tax credit and pension guarantee credit.

All you need to do to check you meet the requirements is submit a short survey. A locally-based company that is approved under the scheme (like Next Energy) can then arrange to remove your old boiler and fit your replacement.
